The Iceland Airwaves music festival announced more artists for this year’s line-up yesterday.
The latest international additions are: Anna Calvi (U.K.), How To Dress Well (U.S.), Eskmo (U.S.), Yumi Zouma (NZ), La Luz (U.S.), Horse Thief (U.S.), Ibibio Sound Machine (U.K.), Vox Mod (U.S.), Greys (CA), Byrta (FO), Gengahr (U.K.), BNNT (PL) and Stara Rzeka (PL).
Icelandic acts to be added to the list are: Sin Fang, Mugison, Pétur Ben, Ylja, Kiasmos, dj. flugvél og geimskip, Low Roar, Mr. Silla, Amabadama, Lára Rúnars, Kira Kira, Kría Brekkan, Hafdís Huld, Boogie Trouble, M-Band, Auxpan, Yamaho, Thor, Exos, Yagya, Octal, Ruxpin, Amaury, Sometime, Momentum, Lord Pusswhip, Óbó, Rúnar Þórisson, Alvia Islandia and Geislar.
Performers already announced include Flaming Lips, The Knife, The War on Drugs and Caribou.
Tickets to the festival, which runs from November 5 to 9, have been sold out in early September in recent years.
