Iceland’s Population Approaches 330,000

Iceland’s population reached 329,040 at the end of last year, an increase of 870 on the year prior. Five hundred and sixty more children were born than the number of individuals who died last year. Three hundred and twenty more people moved to Iceland than moved away, ruv.is reports.

Iceland’s population is made up of more men than women, or 165,150 vs. 163,890.

A total of 211,230 people live in the capital region.
