“We hope of course that we will be able to finish most things [today] but it is never possible to give any promises on the progress of matters,” speaker of parliament Sturla Bödvarsson told Fréttabladid.
Today, MPs will also discuss amendments to controversial laws from 2003 on the retirement benefits for officials, changing the license fee for national broadcaster RÚV into head tax and other law amendments.
