One of the world’s largest agency and record labels, Nettwerk Music Group, has offered a contract to Icelandic singer-songwriter Lay Low. According to her agent, Kári Sturluson, the offer involves the release of her latest album around the world.
“The say that her new album will be released in the US and Europe in April next year and expect promotion work to begin in December,” Sturluson told Fréttabladid. “It means that she has to travel abroad and play and follow-up on her album.”
Sturluson added that a British music label is also preparing to offer a contract to Lay Low. Her country inspired album Farewell Good Night’s Sleep was released in Iceland a few weeks ago and has proven very popular domestically.
