Liverpool FC have a good relationship with Ajax, having signed their star Luis Suarez from the club two years ago. Liverpool see real potential in the 23-year-old Icelandic forward, who would help bolster the squad, sportsdirectnews.com reports.
Liverpool is currently fourth placed in the Premier League, the last Champions League place for an English team.
Liverpool manager Brian Rogers could make a move for the player this week.
