Iceland’s Kimi Records Expands into Foreign Markets

Icelandic record label Kimi Records from Akureyri, north Iceland, released its first albums in Europe this week, Murta St. Calunga with Benni Hemm Hemm and All Over the Face with Skakkamanage, in both CD and digital formats.

These albums are now available in all the main record stores in Europe’s largest cities, from Edinburgh to Rome, and also in all the main online record stores in the European marketplace, according to a Kimi Record press release.

In July these two albums will also be released in the United States and Japan, while THE BLOOD with Reykjavík! will appear in Europe. As of August THE BLOOD will also be available in the US and Japan.

In September Stop! Handgrenade In The Name Of Crib Death ‘nderstand? by Sudden Weather Change will be released in these three markets.
