Iceland’s Feldberg to Play in New York

The Icelandic duo Feldberg, comprised of Eberg (Einar Tönsberg) and Rósa Birgitta Ísfeld, will perform at the Scandinavia House – The Nordic Center in America in New York on December 2 at 7 pm in a double bill with Danish-Swedish musician Christine Owman.

Featuring the bluesy, soulful blend of Ísfeld’s vocals, Feldberg creates music that is a combination of electronic, acoustic, folk, and percussion elements, while maintaining a pop sensibility, a press release describes.

The award-winning track “Dreamin’” from their album Don’t be a Stranger (Cod Music, 2009) is featured on the much-coveted 2010 Kitsune Maison Compilation 9 Set.

“Out of Scandinavia” is an ongoing series of uniquely selected musical performances played on the first Thursday of each month, headlining a myriad of fresh Nordic musicians that features one-off and premiere performances.
