Iceland’s Eyjafjallajökull Makes Time’s Top Ten

The volcanic eruption in Iceland’s Eyjafjallajökull glacier is among the hottest topics in 2010, according to Time magazine, which publishes ratings of all sorts of things at the end of each year.

This particular list rates the most often discussed words. Judging by the fuss caused by the Eyjafjallajökull eruption, ruv.is is surprised that it doesn’t place higher than fourth.

The word claiming the top spot is Vuvuzela—the noise from this South African trumpet made life difficult for many a football enthusiast while watching the games at the World Championship last summer.
