Iceland’s Minister for Business Affairs Gylfi Magnússon gave presentations on the status of the Icelandic economy to financial experts in the American universities Harvard and Yale at the end of last month.
In his presentations, Magnússon highlighted the projects ahead on reconstructing Iceland’s economy after the collapse of the country’s banking system in October last year, Fréttabladid reports.
During his stay in the US, Magnússon also discussed the government’s economic stabilization program with various experts in the field.
Furthermore, Magnússon spoke with the media, Icelandic foreign nationals who work in the American market and with American businessmen who trade with Iceland or plan to do so.
