Sam Mendes’ Skyfall topped the charts but Óskar Þór Axelsson’s Black’s Game (Svartur á leik) and Baltasar Kormákur’s The Deep (Djúpið) contributed to Icelandic films making up 10.5 percent of sales last year, as reported by hollywoodreporter.com.

Admissions were, however, down by 4.3 percent, to 1.4 million tickets.
