Icebergs on museum display

By Iceland Review

A new museum in Stokkseyri, south Iceland, had 30-40 tons of icebergs transported from Jökulsárlón lagoon by Vatnajökull, Iceland’s largest glacier, to its headquarters last weekend.

The icebergs will be part of the backdrop of a new museum in Stokkseyri called The Elf, Troll and Northern Lights Museum. Mbl.is reports.

On the website stokkseyri.is, it says that in light of global warming it is reasonable to preserve the glacial ice in such a way.
