I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream…

The snow in Iceland can often get quite thick. Some mountain roads, notably the road to Mjóifjördur in East Iceland, a fjord with about 20 inhabitants, are covered with snow until far into the official summer. The road was opened in late May this year. The was more than two meters thick at the time.
