Huang told China Daily that he has not received a clear answer from the Icelandic government and will no longer be interested in the project if he does not receive one within the next few weeks, mbl.is reports.

The New York Times recently featured an article about Nubo’s plans, stating that Iceland was “baffled” by the investors business plan to build a golf course on what is described as remote and barren land.
