Hotel Reykjavík became part of Best Western International on April 1, 2011 and is thereby the first Best Western hotel in Iceland. The hotel chain Best Western International Denmark now includes 22 hotels in Denmark and one in Iceland.
Worldwide the international hotel chain has over 4,000 hotels, as stated on the website of Best Western Hotel Reykjavík.
“We are very proud of being Members of Best Western International and we look forward to welcoming guests from all over the world to Iceland and to our beautiful nature,” commented general manager Ólafur Freyr Ólafsson.
The three-star hotel offers “all modern amenities in the North Atlantic’s energy center with volcanoes, boiling mud pools, spurting geysers and arctic desert, the fascinating northern light and the perfect location in the center of Reykjavík,” as described on the website.
The hotel has 79 rooms, a breakfast restaurant and a lobby bar, among other facilities.
