Hot Dog Eating Contest in Garður

By Iceland Review

Not only will British celebrity chef Jamie Oliver be attending the Great BBQ Day in Garður, Reykjanes peninsula, Southwest Iceland, but there will be a hot dog eating competition.

The so-called Hot Dog Viking is the person who can eat the most hot dogs in ten minutes.

The Icelandic record currently stands at ten, dv.is reports.

The world record, set last year by Joey “Jaws” Chestnut from the States, is 69 hot dogs in ten minutes. Registration is open until June 7.
