The Swedish fashion retailer H&M is at last coming to Iceland, planning to open two stores, one in Smáralind mall in Kópavogur, just outside Reykjavík, and the other one at the brand new Hafnartorg square, still under construction, and opposite the office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iceland, mbl.is reports. The latter store won’t open until 2018, and it’s not known when the Smáralind store will open.
For years, H&M has been a most popular fashion brand name among Icelanders, making its stores a popular destination for Icelanders traveling abroad.
