From 7 a.m. yesterday morning till 9 p.m. there were over 30 automobile accidents in Reykjavík reports Icelandic National Broadcasting Service. Most of the accidents only damaged cars but in a few cases people were injured. According to the police, this was a double dose of accidents compared to average days. On average there are about 13 – 14 car accidents per day in the Reykjavík traffic.
