The two teams will next play in Iceland on Sunday but Iceland is comfortable in the top spot in Group 6, three points ahead of second place Slovenia, after having won all three played games.

Slovenia has recorded one win, one draw, and one loss, the game against Iceland last night. Third in the group is Belarus, also with three points, one win, a draw against Slovenia and one lost game. Romania is last, having lost all three games played so far.

One of the four teams will qualify for the European Handball Championship in Denmark.
