Hell’s Angels Denied Entry to Iceland

Police in Keflavík have not taken special measures because of news reporting that Scandinavian Hell’s Angels are coming to Iceland to celebrate on New Year’s Eve with their prospect chapter here.

“When Hell’s Angels come to this country, they are turned back on the border and I assume the same will be done now,” said Sigrídur Björk Gudjónsdóttir, Police Commissioner in Sudurnes municipality which polices the Keflavík International Airport, Morgunbladid reported.

Police at Keflavík International Airport follow international events and act accordingly.

“We keep close track on what happens abroad,” said Gudjónsdóttir and pointed out that alert had been heightened because of the bomb incident in an aircraft over the US.
