Heavy Metal Night at Sódóma Reykjavík

By Iceland Review

A heavy metal night will be held at the night club Sódóma Reykjavík in the city center tomorrow night, during which two bands, Deep Jimi and the Zep Creams and (Metal)-Mordingjar will perform, while four metal-enthusiastic DJs will keep the party going in between.

A special “Metal-Quiz” and “Metal-Lottery” where participants have the chance to win “grand” prizes will take place and those who dress appropriately for the occasion are in for a treat. Decorations will also fit the occasion.

Furthermore, “unforgettable scenes from the history of heavy metal” will be displayed on a screen. “The night is thought of as some kind of a joy-induced rock conference for heavy metal lovers from all walks of life,” as described in a press release.

The program begins at 8 pm. Tickets cost ISK 1,000 (USD 7.86, EUR 5.58).

In other music-related news, the trio Retrön will promote the upcoming release of its debut, Swordplay & Guitarslay, at concert venue Karamba in Reykjavík tonight at 9 pm. Admission is free.
