Icelandic band GusGus recently returned from a short concert tour in Japan, where the band received a warm welcome. GusGus has a solid fanbase in Japan although they have never played in the country before. The band performed mostly new material.
The concert was held in the Makuhari Messe concert hall in Tokyo in connection with the 30th anniversary of fashion conglomerate Diesel.
GusGus band member President Bongo, a.k.a. DJ Margeir, also performed in the Departure Lounge on Thursday night of last week and the following night at the legendary nightclub Womb.
GusGus held two concerts during the Iceland Airwaves festival in Reykjavík and two of its members will perform during a special concert on Sunday night at Nasa.
