Icelandic electro band GusGus have released the first CD single from their upcoming seventh studio album 24/7. The CD single includes five different versions of “Add This Song,” which has been well received around the world.
One of the best-known house DJs in the world, John Digweed, fell headlong for Patrick Chardronnet’s remix of “Add This Song,” which is included on the CD single. The remix is Digweed’s second-most frequently played song at the moment, according to a GusGus press release.
The “Add This Song” single also received a favorable review—four stars out of five—by one of the world’s largest dance music magazines, Resident Advisor, and it has also been praised by XLR8TR, Mixmag and Record Collector.
The CD single is available on iTunes and Amazon among other places and the music video is expected soon. 24/7 is scheduled to be released by German record label Kompakt in September.
GusGus will play at the LungA Festival in Seydisfjördur, east Iceland, this weekend, and will participate in the Total 10 Festival in Cologne, Germany on August 14.
