Icelandic band GusGus, who recently released their seventh studio album 24/7, will premiere the video to the album’s second single “Thin Ice” at Kaffibarinn night club in downtown Reykjavík tonight at 9 pm.
GusGus.
The video was shot in the Reykjavík suburb of Breidholt and actors include students from Fellaskóli and other Breidholt inhabitants. The video is directed by Heimir Sverrisson and Jón Atli Helgason, who also directed GusGus’s latest video to “Add This Song.”
GusGus have just returned from a European tour; they finished with a concert at NASA last Sunday, which simultaneously marked the end of the successful 2009 Iceland Airwaves festival.
After the premiere of the video tonight, GusGus member President Bongo will DJ at Kaffibarinn until midnight.
