GusGus to play in Iceland before European tour

Icelandic electro-pop band GusGus is to play in Reykjavík venue NASA on April 21, as an addition to their concert on March 24. After the concert GusGus will embark on a European tour to promote their new album Forever.

Forever is GusGus’ fifth studio album and was released by Pineapple Records in February 2007. Apart from the three band members Biggi Veira, Earth and President Bongo, several other artists participated in the album.

Former GusGus member Daníel Ágúst Haraldsson sings “The Moss” and X-Factor judge Páll Óskar Hjálmtýsson performs in the songs “Need in Me” and “Hold You.”

Other artists who participated in Forever include electronic music producer Aaron-Carl from Detroit, USA, and Icelandic guitarist Ómar Gudjónsson.

GusGus’ concert in NASA will be its last in Iceland before embarking on a European tour.

This summer the band is scheduled to perform at the MayDay festival in Germany, the Europa Vox festival in France, the Visur festival in the Netherlands, the Glastonbury festival in the UK and the Benecassim festival in Spain.
