The “Komm Tanz Mit Mir – GusGus Tour 2009” has begun as part of the Nordrid concert series. For three weeks the band will play in concerts in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands and France.
Icelandic solo artist Oculus will accompany GusGus on their tour, along with German band Wareika, which will then follow GusGus to Iceland and play at the Iceland Airwaves festival on October 18, a press release states.
GusGus’s seventh studio album 24/7 was released by Kompakt on September 14. The album is currently the highest selling album in Iceland. The “Komm Tanz Mit Mir” tour is GusGus’s first tour to promote the album.
