Soon it will be possible to open up a cold bottle of Gullfoss or Geysir beer on a hot day in Reykjavík. Reykjavík Brewery has just started to bottle a new line of quality beer and will name them after Iceland’s most famous natural wonders, Gullfoss og Geysir.
Reykjavík Brewery is a new label and the first bottles of Gullfoss are supposed to be in stores the last weeks of July. Fréttabladid reports
Reykjavík Brewery will focus on producing high-quality beers. “We established the company a year ago and we made a list of the top breweries in Europe and aimed at getting one of them to work with us” Heimir Hermannson, CEO of Reykjavík Brewery told Fréttabladid. (10 júní 2008)
A master brewer from Carlsberg accepted the offer so high-quality beer made of the best ingredients possible will be flowing from the tankards of Reykjavík Brewery by July.
