A crowd had gathered outside of the Supreme Court, but only a few among them were allowed into the courtroom. Mbl.is reports this.

Lára V. Júlíusdóttir is the appointed district attorney. The case was opened in court on January 21st, but the charges were revoked when it was discovered that a guard suing for damages was the half-sister of the district attorney’s wife. Therefore, the district attorney declared himself unable to work on the case.
