Grímsey Island to get Monument

The Design Center of Iceland and the municipality of Akureyri, North Iceland, are calling for artists, architects and designers to send their ideas for a new monument to be built on Grímsey island. The island, which is located on the Arctic Circle, is Iceland’s northernmost point and home to 100 inhabitants.
