The eleventh Grassroots night organized by gogoyoko and the Reykjavík Grapevine, presenting up-and-coming Icelandic musicians, will be held at the Reykjavík club Hemmi og Valdi tonight.
Nolo plus one.
Performers will be Nolo, Hypno and the members of Slátur, Áki Ásgeirsson, Gudmundur Steinn Gunnarsson and Thráinn Hjálmarsson, each of whom will perform solo.
Nolo is a young and promising band from the junior college MH in Reykjavík, comprised of two guys, a keyboard and guitar. They performed in the last Iceland Airwaves festival and were well received by the festival goers.
Hypno is a solo artist playing electronic music in limbo between dubstep and house and the Slátur three will play various instruments and may even let attendees participate.
The concert begins at 9 pm and lasts until midnight. Admission is free.
