GPS Sends Tourists on Wrong Path to Geysir

Foreign tourists on their way to the Geysir area, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Iceland, had to call the police when their car got stuck in snow on a wrong road, far from Geysir, yesterday. They had keyed in Geysir on their GPS, but the device sent them in the wrong direction, reports.

Farmers near the volcano Hekla, South Iceland, where the tourists had ended up, helped them to get their rental car out of the snow and pointed them in the right direction, back to Geysir.
