Fifty-five percent of people living in Reykjavík would like to see Dagur B. Eggertsson, leader of the Social Democratic Alliance, as the next mayor of Reykjavík, according to a new poll conducted by the Social Science Research Institute for Morgunblaðið.
The second most popular candidate is Halldór Halldórsson from the Independence Party with 23 percent followed by S.Björn Blöndal, leader of Bright Future, with 8 percent of the vote, and Sóley Tómasdóttir with 3 percent
