Iceland’s winning goal in last night’s game against Finland was controversial, bringing the score to 3-2 for Iceland. RÚV reports. The Norwegian referee deemed it a goal, but not everyone agreed. The Finnish team members were furious after the game, and their coach Hans Backe, was very displeased with the referees, Vísir reports.
A screenshot, appearing to show the ball inside the goal, is possibly deceiving because the ball is still in the air, according to Vísir.
