Germany Beats Denmark at EHF EURO 2016

Germany beat Denmark yesterday 25-23 at the Men’s EHF EURO 2016 in Poland. The German team, coached by Icelander Dagur Sigurðsson, will therefore move on to the semi-finals, while the Danish team, coached by Icelander Guðmundur Þórður Guðmundsson, has been eliminated from the competition. Other teams moving on to the semi-finals are Spain, Croatia and Norway.

The German people celebrated with Dagur and his team. He was interviewed on the ARD TV station, where he was given a case of Icelandic beer for the team to enjoy. You can watch the interview with him in German here.
