Teams competed in rowing short distances on two-man sea kayaks and it was obvious to the locals that the rowers were not used to this type of challenge.

After the strenuous rowing competition which saw the competitors battle cold sea winds and showers of rain, the group went to the restaurant Langi Mangi where they had Icelandic meat soup, bread and coffee to warm up.

Following the refreshments, the competitors went to the scenic camping site in Tungudalur where they competed in seeing who could set up a tent the fastest.

After the second challenge, one of the competitors went down on his knees and proposed to his girlfriend in front of the cameras. The girl said yes and the gentleman produced a bottle of Champagne and popped its cork.

Ísafjördur, a town in the West Fjords, is the most popular visiting spot for cruise ships in Iceland.

Weighing 93,000 tons, the MSC Poesia is the largest cruise ship to visit Ísafjördur harbor. Another huge cruise ship is expected next week, the Costa Magica which weighs 102,000 tons and carries 3,500 passengers, exceeding the population of the town by a few hundred.
