German Film Days in Reykjavík

German Film Days opened in Bíó Paradís, Reykjavík, February 10. They will run through Sunday, February 19th. The film days, being offered for the seventh time, are organized by Bíó Paradís in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Denmark and the German Embassy in Iceland. Six films will be screened, representing the best current German cinema has to offer.

The German Film Days opened with Toni Erdmann, directed by Maren Ade. Other films screened are Land of Mine by Martin Zandvliet, Frantz, directed by François Ozon, Democracy, directed by David Bernet, The People vs. Fritz Bauer, directed by Lars Kraume, and Original Bliss, directed by Sven Taddicken.

All the movies are in German with English subtitles.
