George Bush sr celebrates Independence Day in Iceland

The Icelandic media reports on the visit of the former president of the United States George H.W. Bush.

According to Icelandic National Broadcasting Service, RÚV, Mr Bush is accompanied by several friends, and they intend to fish for salmon while in Iceland.

According to Morgunbladid, the president of Iceland, Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, hosted Mr Bush and entourage at a dinner party at the Icelandic president’s residence. Ólafur Ragnar and his wife, Mrs Dorrit Moussaieff, presented Mr Bush with a fishing rod as a welcome present.
