Trying to capitalize on the recent transgressions of the nation’s major oil companies, Atlantsolía has entered into the market, opening a new location in Reykjavik.
“Now you have a choice,” said the managing director Geir Saemundsson, in a direct attack on Esso, Shell and Olís. “You can choose one of the corrupt companies, or Atlantsolía.”
Esso, Shell and Olís were recently found to have colluded to keep prices artificially high.
