This year has been very successful and there is obviously significant growth in the Icelandic music scene, a press release states.
In 2010, Kimi Records published ten LPs, two SPs and two singles, all of which have been well received by customers and critics alike. Kimi’s subsidiary, Brak Records, also released nine albums.
Next year looks promising as well; the highlights are a new LP by Sin Fang Bous, an LP and SP by Sudden Weather Change and an LP by Reykjavík!.
The doors at Bakkus open at 9 pm tomorrow night and the first concert begins punctually at 9:30 pm. Kimi Records will have the performers’ albums for sale on site, along with other band merchandise.
