Gísli Freyr Valdórsson, former assistant to now former Minister of the Interior, Hanna Birna Kristjánsdóttir, has agreed to pay Evelyn Glory Joseph damages in relation to the so-called leak affair in which he leaked confidential information about her and two others to the media.
Evelyn’s lawer, Katrín Oddsdóttir, said that the decision was significant for her client, visir.is reports.
Gísli, who was handed a suspended prison sentence because of the case, previously agreed to pay damages to an Icelandic woman about which was also leaked to the media.
