Foreign Press cover Iceland’s Woman’s Day Off

The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service reports that journalists from around the world covered Iceland’s Woman’s Day Off celebrations.

The UK the Times wrote about the day in an article called “Women of Iceland in new crusade over lack of equal pay ” The Times quotes Iceland Review editor Krista Mahr: ‘Iceland, in short, seems to be the envy of ageing societies such as Germany. “There is a remarkable balance between profession and childcare,” Krista Mahr, the Editor of the influential Icelandic Review, said.’
