Football Tickets on Sale Tomorrow

Ticket sales begin tomorrow at noon for the qualifying competition for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, to be held in Russia June 14-July 15, 2018, according to the website of the Football Association of Iceland (KSÍ).

The type of tickets sold tomorrow will be good for all Iceland’s home games. Only 1,000 tickets will be offered for sale tomorrow, representing 10 percent of the total.

Following the great success of the Icelandic men’s national football team at the EURO 2016 in France this summer, where Iceland made it to the quarter-finals, the tickets will no doubt be in high demand.

The first home game for Iceland is scheduled against Finland on October 6, followed by a game against Turkey on October 9; the third home game will be on June 11, next year, against Croatia; the fourth on September 5, next year, against Ukraine; and the fifth on October 9, next year, against Kosovo.

A maximum of four tickets can be bought by each person, using his/her personal ID number, or kennitala. Tickets will be sold in three price categories, ranging from ISK 15,000 (USD 128, EUR 113) to ISK 35,000 (USD 298, EUR 264) apiece.
