Football Pre-Season Starts Awfully for BÍ/Bolungarvík

The West Fjords’ football club BÍ/Bolungarvík from Ísafjörður and Bolungarvík has started the pre-season Lengjubikarinn tournament by losing the first five games and without scoring a single goal, bb.is reports.

Not only have the strikers missed the goal in five games, but the defense in BÍ/Bolungarvík has also been extremely poor, resulting in the team’s goalkeeper having had to pick up the ball from his goal 22 times in those five games.

BÍ/Bolungarvík’s next game is against top team Breiðablik from Kópavogur in the first heat in Lengjubikarinn after five days.

No player from BÍ/Bolungarvík is on the Icelandic national team, which has now arrived in Astana, the Kazakhstan capital. On Saturday they will play a game there in the qualification for the 2016 Europe Cup. Iceland is expecting to win big.
