The latest list of bestselling books in Iceland is out.

The top five are all books by Icelandic authors:

1. Veisluréttir Hagkaups (cookbook) by Friðrikka Hjördís Geirsdóttir.

2. Vísindabók Villa (children’s science book) by Vilhelm Anton Jónsson.

3. Skuggasund (crime fiction) by Arnaldur Indriðason.

4. Hemmi Gunn: sonur þjóðar (biography) by Orri Páll Ormarsson.

5. Guðni: léttur í lund (lighthearted stories) by (former minister of agriculture) Guðni Ágústsson.
