Iceland based FL Group announced yesterday that it has bought a share worth ISK 30 billion (EUR 314 million, USD 413 million) in AMR, the world’s largest airline.
AMR is the parent company of American Airlines and American Eagle Airlines. Fréttabladid reports.
With a six percent share FL Group becomes one of the largest shareholders in AMR. FL Group also has a share in airlines Sterling and Finnair.
Earlier this year FL Group sold its shares in airlines EasyJet and Icelandair.
