First Lady Jumps into Icelandic Goalkeeper’s Lap

In heartfelt celebration, Dorrit Mousaieff, wife of President of Iceland Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, jumped into the lap of Icelandic goalkeeper Hannes Halldórsson’s after Iceland’s win over England at Euro 2016 in Nice last night, as can be seen in this photo on mbl.is.

Iceland fans were over the moon with joy after their team qualified for the quarterfinals. Dorrit also danced a victory dance with Eggert Ólafsson, former chair of KSÍ – the Icelandic Football Association (who is also ex-chairman of West Ham United), as can be seen in this video on ruv.is.

Iceland plays against France in the quarterfinals on Sunday.
