First cruiser arrives in Iceland

Cruise ship MS Fram from Norway arrived in Reykjavík on Saturday, the first to arrive in Iceland this summer. The newly-constructed cruiser is on its maiden voyage to Greenland.

The ship left Reykjavík’s harbor the following day but 78 others are expected to cast their anchor in the capital’s harbor this summer, reports.

The MS Fram is onto Greenland, where it will cruise in Baffin Bay. The cruiser is 113 meters long and 20 meters wide and carries up to 300 passengers. It is specifically constructed for sailing in icy waters.
