The Reykjavík Comedy Festival, presenting a series of stand-ups by both Icelandic international comedians, will take place November 11-14 in Loftkastalinn theater. It is the first festival of its kind in Iceland.
The organizers promise first-class entertainment for all age groups, men and women, as stated on the theater’s website.
Among performers are Thorsteinn Gudmundsson, Helga Braga Jónsdóttir, the Radíus Brothers, Halldóra Geirhards and Ólafía Hrönn, Rökkvi Vésteinsson, Dóri DNA, Phil Nichol, Tom Stade, Steve Hughes, Eric Lampaert and Joel Dommett.
The festival’s host is the well-known Icelandic radio presenter Freyr Eyjólfsson.
Ticket sales began on October 28 on midi.is and at Loftkastalinn. Students get 20 percent off.
