First Airwaves 2013 Artists Announced

The first artists on the bill to play Iceland Airwaves 2013 were announced today.

Syrian musician Omar Souleyman, electronic producer Gold Panda from the U.K., rock band Goat and church organ musician Anna Von Hausswolff from Sweden, as well as Fatima Al Qadiri from Kuwait and Canadian punk outfit No Joy are the international artists that have been announced.

Icelandic groups include Hjaltalín and Valdimar, twin sisters Pascal Pinon, folk/pop group Tilbury, reggae outfit Ojba Rasta and black metal artists Momemtum.

The festival will run from October 30 to November 3.
