Shortly before the opening of Icelandair‘s gigantic ten-thousand square metre hangar in Keflavík Airport, its fire-extinguishing system was tested.
As seen in the video below, firefighting foam began to fill the entire hangar in a matter of 2-3 minutes.
The opening of the hangar coincides with a growing amount of flights in Keflavík Airport, Iceland‘s main international airport. Its older hangar housed only a handful of Icelandair planes, while the new one can contain over thirty planes.
