Reykjavík City planning board announced a competition to build a hotel at the nearby Ingólfstorg, which would mean the demolition of the club, visir.is reports.

The group Save Ingólfstorg and NASA say they have collected 15,000 signatures. They will deliver the petition to Reykjavík mayor Jón Gnarr, acting Speaker of Parliament Ragnheiður Ríkharðsdóttir and director of the National Committee on Architectural Heritage Páll Bjarnason today.
